Music scholars can now go to school on one of the most famous and prolific music families there ever was. Virginia Tech has acquired a collection of memorabilia related to Johnny Cash, the Carter Family and other members of their musical clans. The collection includes sheet music, memoirs and other memorabilia.

Officials at Tech say the collection will be available for research in the Special Collections department of Newman Library on the Blacksburg, Va. campus. The material includes a collection of Carter Family sheet music and a biography written in 1980 by Johnny Cash.
