Kelsey Grammer Returns

September 30, 2009 Tonight, ABC as the debut of Kelsey Grammer's new sitcom "Hank." He plays a high-living sports retailer who finds himself out of work and nearly out of money. Another new sitcom follows, "The Middle." The primetime lineup concludes with "Eastwick."

We see Eric McCormack's serious side on NBC. He, of course, was the Will from the long-running sitcom "Will and Grace." On tonight's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" McCormack plays the CEO of an online dating service. He's questioned by the detectives of SVU when the body of one of the service's customers is found stuffed inside a suitcase. Also on NBC, "Mercy" and "The Jay Leno Show." Tonight's guests include actor Steve Carell.

Fox starts the evening with auditions on "So You Think You Can Dance." Next up -- Emmy-winner Kristin Chenoweth guests on "Glee."

CBS' sitcoms "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried" are fresh episodes tonight. Then it's crime-time with "Criminal Minds" and "CSI: New York." Tonight's CSI: NY has the team searching for a cyberkiller.

"America's Next Top Model" is new tonight on the CW.

The documentary mini-series "The National Parks: America's Best Idea" continues on many PBS stations.

With director Roman Polanski in the news, you might want to check out one of his signature films. "Rosemary's Baby" from 1968 is on HBO Signature.
