The meeting Thursday comes as Rendell and lawmakers enter the fourth month of a budget stalemate that has left Pennsylvania with just a partial spending plan in place.
Rendell is also scheduled to speak about the budget at 12:30 p.m.
Leaders of the House Democrats and of both parties in the Senate struck a nearly $28 billion budget deal with Rendell on Sept. 18.
However, some major details are still unsettled. In addition, some House Democrats are unhappy about the deal's proposed new taxes on small games of chance and tickets to stage performances and cultural sites.
