Sketch released in teen sex assault

EAST NOTTINGHAM TWP., Pa. - October 8, 2009 According to investigators, the 14-year-old was walking on Little Elk Creek Road in East Notthingham Township between 8:15 and 9:00 p.m on September 27th.

That's when, she said, she saw a man walking ahead of her with a "mangy" looking dog, possibly a shepherd mix.

The teen said she stopped at a concrete bridge. That's when the suspect turned and began walking toward her. The girl tried to leave and go home when she was grabbed from behind, taking to a grassy area just off the road, and sexually assaulted.

A passerby on a bicycle heard the victim telling the suspect to stop. The biker confronted the suspect, who ran off.

Anyone who may recognize the sketch or has information is asked to contact PSP Avondale at (610) 268-2022.
