Officials say the proprietor of the store, Oscar Madena, who is in his 20s, was shot as the store while it was being robbed at around 8:45 p.m.
Neighbors tell Action News, Oscar was a hardworking man.
Police are investigating.
It is not known if police have found any suspects.
