Discount designer shopping sites have been popping up all over the web. But many of the sites, including Ideeli, RueLaLa, and Beyond the Rack, require new members to get a special invitation before they can take advantage of their bargains.
Hautelook.com is different. "It's very easy to become a member of hautelook," Espinosa explains. "All you have to do is give us your email. You make up a password, and that's it. And you're signed up. It takes literally less than 10 seconds."
Once you sign up, you can save up to 75% on designer clothes for men, women and children along with home items.
"We work directly with the brands. So that is why we have a deep inventory, deep sizes, so you can have everything from a size two to a size 14," Espinosa says.
Sales are announced about a week ahead of time. Preview photos are posted so you can get an idea of the styles to be offered. Once the sales start, they run about 40 hours.
The format allows you schedule your shopping when it's convenient.
Espinosa says, "Here, you can shop anytime you want, early in the morning, midnight, at the office, at school and you can find all your favorite brands at really great discounts."
