Norristown Bank of America robbed

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - October 16, 2009 At approximately 11:10 a.m., the suspect entered the branch and approached a teller.

The man displayed a handgun to the teller, and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled the area of the bank on foot, and was last seen running through the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a black male, early to mid 30's, 5'9" tall, thin build, with a dark complexion and a mustache, wearing a zippered black hooded sweatshirt, dark baseball cap, black gloves, blue jeans, and dark colored sneakers.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this man. Anyone with information is asked to call the Norristown Police Department at 610-270-0977 or the FBI. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
