Teachers at 3 NJ schools on strike Monday

Three southern New Jersey Catholic high schools are open Monday even though teachers are walking picket lines.

Strikes are taking place at Holy Spirit in Absecon, Camden Catholic in Cherry Hill and Paul VI in Haddonfield.

Raises and health benefits remain sticking points in contract negotiations.

Teachers at Sacred Heart in Vineland decided not to strike because they have their own contract and felt a job action would be too disruptive.
