Pedestrian struck, killed in S. Philly

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - October 22, 2009 It happened around 7:30pm on Columbus Boulevard near Snyder Avenue.

Police say the victim was trying to cross the northbound lanes when he was struck by the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are calling this an accident and no charges are expected to be filed.
