Police tell Action News that there was a party being held inside of an apartment on the fourth floor of a apartment building in the 4800 block of Chester Avenue. Around 1:00 a.m., an argument broke out. A man fired at least one shot at another man in his 20's - striking him in the neck before fleeing from the building.
Medics transported the male to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is listed in critical condition.
No word yet on the victim's name. Police are talking to several people trying to get to the bottom of this crime.
