This one occurred at the intersection of North Stanley Street and West Huntingdon Street at around 11:00 p.m. in the Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section.
Two officers were approached by a man who said he had been robbed at gunpoint. The officers searched the area and found the suspect, robbing another man one block away on Oakdale Street.
One officer discharged his weapon, but did not strike the suspect.
The suspect is identified as 29-year-old Sharif Brown.
He was taken in to custody.
This happened the same night a Philadelphia Police officer shot a man while taking him into custody overnight in North Philadelphia.
