Jon, no Kate, for Norristown court date

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - October 26, 2009 /*Jon Gosselin*/ showed up in court to address accusations that he drained approximately $200,000 from the joint bank account he still shares with his estranged wife.

But Mr. Gosselin says he already gave back that money and now he wants to know what Kate did with an estimated $33,000 that he says is missing from that same account.

"I was held accountable for my actions and I returned the funds, which is simply just my paycheck. I'll probably get it back anyway. It's kind of funny, actually." Jon Gosselin told reporters outside the courthouse. "I returned the funds and Kate doesn't show up to court today, so how is she going to be held accountable?"

/*Kate Gosselin*/ did not show up for today's hearing. She's reportedly in California for a book signing, but an attorney representing the reality TV mom was here. With her attorney present, Kate Gosselin was not required to show up for the hearing.

The hearing lasted just 20 minutes. The judge, in effect, dismissed the contempt motions filed by both sides in connection with the alleged missing monies.

But Jon Gosselin's attorney told reporters that the fact that Mrs. Gosselin didn't even show up for the hearing is offensive.

"For Kate Gosselin to dishonor and disrespect her obligations to address these issues, and to fail to come to court today is also, in my view, an affront to the judicial system," attorney Mark Heller said.

"I just want to know where the money is. That's all," Gosselin also said. "I don't care if she spent it. Just prove it. What did you do with it? Now if you moved it, that's a different story."

Jon Gosselin said the last time he spoke with Kate was two weeks ago at the courthouse.

Two days of arbitration on pending divorce issues is scheduled for late November.

The TLC reality show "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" has chronicled the couple's lives while raising their eight children. The Gosselins filed for divorce in June.
