Court documents show Reagan Ogden pleaded guilty in Sussex County Superior Court on Tuesday, one day after his trial began.
Delaware State Police say Ogden drove his car into the back of a Grace-N-Mercy Ministries van on Route 13 in February. The van traveled into the median before flipping over, killing 12-year-old Kayla Tate of Lewes and 10-year-old Tashaun Mallory of Laurel. Ten others were injured.
Ogden the 33-year-old man's sentencing was scheduled Dec. 11.
Ogden fled from the crash and his parents are charged with lying to police, allegedly saying their car was stolen when, in fact, their car is the one Ogden drove into the van.
