Bus driver escapes gunfire in East Falls

Several cars were damaged when a gunman opened fire during an attempted robbery in Philadelphia's East Falls section.

It happened early Tuesday morning when an attempted robber tried to hold up a SEPTA bus driver walking to work in the area of the 2800 and 2900 block of Queen Lane.

The bus driver was not hit but was shaken up and taken to Temple University Hospital.

At least 5 cars were damaged by bullets.

So far, there is no word on the shooter.
