Another soccer rumble caught on camera

Two girls on opposing teams got into a shoving match during this high school soccer game in Rhode Island on Sunday.

Then fists started flying.

The melee between the Woonsocket Villa Novans and the Tolman Tigers spread into the stands as fans went blow for blow with one another.

Kathleen Fagnant, coach of the Woonsocket Villa Novans, told reporters, "They're both physical teams and you can only take so much, and at a certain point someone snapped. I don't really know. I don't know how the banter went. Things just got out of control."

No one was arrested, at least one player suffered a black eye.

You remember there was similar behavior recently, at a soccer match involving college-age girls between Bringham-Young and New Mexico State. Junior defender Elizabeth Lambert of New Mexico State was suspended Friday for actions.
