The holiday season is upon us, if you're doing most of the hosting, I have some tips to make the whole process a little easier.

Get a plastic folding table, whether for extra seating or for serving an extra table can come in handy, when you're done they fold up and store easily away.

If the holidays always seem to be at your house, get a set of clear glass dishes.

You can usually pick them up at your local discount store for a buck a piece and you don't have to worry about not having enough dishes for everybody, they can go into the dishwasher and unlike your fine china you won't care if one gets broken.

Along those same lines, grab some extra silverware, pick it up at a tag sale or on sale to ensure everyone has nice flatware to eat from on the holiday.

If you're planning on having overnight guests, get an inflatable bed, the nice thing about these beds is that they blow up quickly and then can deflate and be folded up out of the way in no time!

Another great thing if you're going to have a houseful is a big coffee maker so you don't have to run your smaller machine into the ground.

Easy ideas to you're your holidays a little less stressful. I'm Mrs. FIXIT and it's just that simple!
