When you log onto one of the sites, which are powered by Yahoo, pick the charity from the drop-down menu.
Then start searching as you normally would. But for every search you make, Goodsearch will make a donation to the charity you've selected.
Goodshop.com, also powered by Yahoo, allows holiday shoppers to search and purchase gifts from a variety of major, popular stores. Goodshop will donate up to 30% of every purchase you make to the charity of your choosing. There is NO cost to the shopper.
With this year's recession, charities say they seriously need holiday donations to boost shortfalls in giving.
