Half-price Nicole Miller bridal gowns

MANAYUNK - November 25, 2009

The sale gowns are samples of discontinued designs that the Nicole Miller shops have sold over recent seasons.

"They just happen to be tried on a few times, honestly, some of the dresses may only have been tried on once or twice, but they've been discontinued," explains Manayunk shop owner Mary Dougherty.

Unlike other bridal sample sales, where most of the gowns are size 10's, Nicole Miller will have dozens of gowns in sizes zero to 16. They have a variety of styles and price points as well.

Here are some examples:
An embroidered gown that was originally $2420will be half-price at $1210.
A $2600 gown with spaghetti straps will also be half-price at $1300.
An empire waist dress with silver rhinestone beading that was originally $1870 will be reduced to $935, and a $200 veil will be White Friday priced at $100.
A $1650 dress with beaded straps and a keyhole neck will be priced at $825. And a strapless sheath, which retailed for $595, will be less than $300. Accessories like gloves, jewerly, purses and shoes will also be half-price.

The sale runs from 8:00 a.m until 8:00 p.m. on Black Friday, November 27, 2009. Dougherty suggests coming early.

"Last year, we had a line all the way around the corner. We only did it in Manayunk last year, this is our second annual sale at both locations at the Bellevue and here in Manayunk," she explains.
