Parts of NJ face snow, sleeting, freezing rain

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - December 8, 2009

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for western Passaic, Warren, Morris and Sussex counties through Wednesday.

Forecasters say snow will develop by midnight and gradually mix with freezing rain and sleet during Wednesday morning.

The weather service says snow accumulations should range from 2 to 6 inches, with the highest amounts across western Passaic.

Forecasters say the wintry precipitation will eventually change over to rain.

Motorists will likely face slippery conditions.
