Tabitha Hritz, 18, was in a relationship with the boy's father when the assaults occurred, police said.
It came to light when the boy was talking to counselor about his poor performance in school.
Police say the assaults happened between September and November.
Hritz is charged with 18 counts of rape and continuous sexual assault of a child.
She was sent to prison on $95,000 cash bond.
