The incident occurred in the 2100 block of West Norris Street around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police tell Action News that the driver of the U-Haul was turning off North 21st Street when he struck at least two parked vehicles and continued on at a high rate of speed before losing control and slamming into a home. The driver then fleed the scene on foot.
Police say that three residents were inside the house. One of them was watching TV in the living room and was injured by flying debris. That person was taken to Temple Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is continuing as police look for the driver.
