Casey Anthony may still face death penalty

Aug. 21, 2008:Casey Anthony was released from jail after Padilla posted her bond. Aug. 30, 2008: Casey Anthony is taken into custody on new charges, including petty theft. A Florida judge has denied a request to take the death penalty off the table for a mother charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter.
