I also love to give out homemade treats. It seems like a nice way to show someone how much you care about them. So, after working on Sunday, the kids and I put the snow gear on and lugged our 3 dozen cupcakes around the neighborhood. They decided to carol as our neighbors opened the door. So, we sang all the songs we could remember.
It was a snowy, messy day. We were off key and our cupcakes were not the best. But, we had a great time! Some of the neighborhood kids joined in and they loved tracking through the snow with their goodies!
The holiday season is stressful and exhausting. I think that simple day in the snow with the kids really helped me celebrate the spirit of the season.
