Fire broke out in a 3-story dwelling in the 2100 block of N. 8th Street around 9:20 this morning.
Reports came into 911 at 9:19 of heavy fire showing from the home. Firefighters arrived quickly thereafter and found heavy fire on the third floor and reports of people trapped.
The flames were quickly brought under control.
One male and one female child were transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing as to what caused the blaze.
