That's exactly what owner Dawn Kane is hoping will draw customers.
"With the economy being what it is, women still want to dress and feel like a movie star, without paying the prices that they would at the mall," Kane says.
Dawn says her prices average about a third of new retail. And she buys her inventory from customers for a third of what she'll sell it for.
"Assuming the items are in good condition and we need them, based on our inventory, we make an offer to the customer on the spot," Kane says.
"So, it's a great opportunity to clean out your closet and get cash for clothes, for things that you're not wearing. "
Premium denim is a big seller here.
We found Diesel jeans for $32, Lucky Brand jeans for $35, Apple Bottom jeans for $15, and Dolce and Gabbana jeans for $55.
And there's also a whole room full of high-end designer evening wear. In there, a two-piece evening dress by Carmen Marc Valvo was just $45.
We also found a Dana Buchman jacket for $49 and a Juicy Couture silk skirt for $49.
The store also stocks accessories, girls' clothes from names like Justice and Limited, Too, and casual wear.
Gina's Closet is located at 1 South Oak Avenue in Clifton Heights. The hours are Weekdays 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
