The fire happened at Borghi's Restaurant, located on North Main Street in Chalfont, Pa.
Fire officials say it a grease fire ignited inside the kitchen and caused extensive damage to the kitchen and equipment.
According to Deputy Fire Chief Bill Fluck, they were able to contain the fire to the kitchen.
One employee was transported to an area hospital for minor smoke inhalation.
Borghi's will be closed until repairs can be complete.
