Late Friday evening, 21-year-old Perry surrendered to Delaware State Police in Woodside to turn himself in on the charges of Murder 1, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.
Perry was wanted in connection with the murder of Michael Savage, of Dover on December 17, 2009.
Detectives were contacted the day before by a member of Perry's family who told them he was going to surrender on Friday.
Perry was arraigned and ordered held at the Vaughn T. Correctional Institute without bail.
