A spokesman for the family of 15-year-old /*Ricardo Smith*/ says he was released from Lehigh Valley Hospital on Wednesday. Juliet Shavit says the teen is now at an inpatient rehabilitation center.
Police say 66-year-old /*Margaret Kantes*/ struck Smith with her car outside Pennridge High School in Perkasie on Jan. 4. Kantes is the principal at a Pennridge middle school.
Shavit says police have requested an interview with the teen.
In a statement released through the school on the day of the crash, Kantes said she was devastated and praying for Smith's speedy recovery. She has not been charged in the incident.
