Reward offered in elderly woman's killing

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. - January 14, 2010

Mary Pellegrino was found murdered inside her Huntingdon Valley home on Sunday, January 3rd. She had head injuries, and investigators said she had been dead for days.

The discovery was made by a handyman.

Police say jewelry has been found to be missing from Pellegrino's home, including a nearly 2 carat diamond solitaire engagement ring, as well as a ring with alternating rubies and diamonds.

Action News has learned that Pellegrino lived alone.

Pellegrino was last seen on December 30th. She did not have children, Action News is told, and only a few relatives in the area with whom she was close.
