A private viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Gardinier Funeral Home in Franklin, the hometown of 40-year-old Trooper Paul Richey.
Richey's funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at Franklin Senior High School. That event is public.
Police believe 44-year-old Michael J. Smith shot Richey before also shooting his 53-year-old wife, Nancy Frey-Smith, and then himself after a domestic dispute Wednesday morning at their home in Cranberry Township, Venango County.
Police are waiting for autopsy and ballistics tests to confirm that sequence of events.
