Mrs. Fixit: Foam Sheets

January 24, 2010

I like to use a regular mouse with my laptop but I don't always have a mouse pad with me to keep it rolling smoothly. One of these little foam sheets is the perfect size and surface for the mouse.

If the glass in a cabinet is rattling, cut a small strip of foam and put it between the cabinet and the glass so that the foam helps cushion the glass and keep it from rattling.

These little foam stickers are great for protecting a table top from a lamp or glass knick knack, just stick them to the bottom.

If you want to protect your wall from picture frame scuffs, or just keep a frame straight on the wall, put a couple of self adhesive foam stickers in the lower corners of the frame and they'll hold and protect.

Speaking of pictures, if you need an extra spacer inside a picture frame so it doesn't slide apart, stick a foam sheet or two between the picture and the backing to hold it tight.

Maybe these craft items aren't just for the kids anymore!

I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple.
