Brown is running against Martha Coakley in a special election to fill the seated vacated by the death of Sen. Ted Kennedy.
In June, 1982, Brown won the magazine's "America's Sexiest Man" contest as a 22-year-old Law Student as Boston College.

White went on to say that it appeared Brown always had political ambitions and even admitted to being "a bit of a patriot" when he was interviewed by Cosmo.
