You can see his figure on the left side of the images. He enters the crowded Bridge Theater last Friday at 7 p.m. through the front doors with a red and white mask pulled above his nose.
You can just make out the 40 caliber handgun he's holding before he threatens the clerks at the ticket booth, taking an undetermined amount of cash, and takes off. On his way, he fires five shots at the off-duty state Capitol police officer who identified himself when he saw the robbery in progress.
"All of a sudden, I heard five gunshots; they were rapid, really fast, and I saw people throwing themselves through the window onto the ground and rolling…and I just said run," witness Gabriella Yudenich said.
The gunman shot the officer in the shoulder and a Drexel student in his leg. But officers believe the injuries could have been even worse if he hadn't fired while standing on a ramp.
Thirteen minutes later, cameras captured the man again at 41st and Spruce as he fled on foot.Police describe the man as 5'10", 20-25 years old and African-American wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black jacket and light-colored blue jeans.
He also had a distinctive walk. He was noticeably dragging his left leg and he knew the University city area.
If you do recognize the man from the pictures, don't approach him. Philadelphia Police say he is considered armed and dangerous so call 911.
