Aramark apologizes for Capitol rodent problem

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - January 26, 2010

Vice President Bruce Walton of Philadelphia-based Aramark says his company is sorry for the cleanliness problems that caused a two-week shutdown in the Capitol cafeteria.

Walton spoke at a hearing Monday over the shutdown, which happened after state inspectors found mouse droppings and other health hazards.

Walton says Aramark has made changes to the cafeteria staff and wants employees to be more proactive about health issues.
