Investigators say Michael Minor is assigned to the 12th District in Philadelphia. They say he was arrested without incident and charged with assault and with making terroristic threats.
Police say that the girlfriend told them that Minor threatened her life.
Minor's girlfriend was treated at the hospital for her injuries and released.Officer Minor is on restricted administrative duty during the investigation.
