Sheriff's deputies in Arizona have arrested two New Mexico men after a traffic stop on I-40.
Authorities say a deputy smelled marijuana as he was questioning the driver, 26-year-old Daniel Burkett and passenger, 19-year-old Thomas Thompson.
A drug-sniffing dog was called in for a search.
Authorities say the SUV carried two small safes, one of which contained more than three pounds of the illegal weed.
