Seventy-two-year-old Joseph Walczak testified Tuesday at the murder trial of 38-year-old Mustafa Ali. Ali is accused of killing two retired police officers, Joseph Alullo and William Widmaier, on the Oct. 5, 2007.
The men were servicing an ATM machine outside a Northeast Philadelphia bank when they were killed. Walczak was in the vehicle and received minor wounds.
Police say Ali confessed to the shooting. Ali's attorney says his client panicked when one of the guards drew his gun.
Walczak testified that he saw a black man with a gun, but could not identify Ali as the shooter.
