Sheriff: Fla. lottery winner's death a homicide

TAMPA, Fla. - February 2, 2010

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office would not elaborate on that finding Tuesday.

Abraham Shakespeare's body was found last week, buried behind a home in eastern Hillsborough County. Officials said a concrete slab had been poured atop his grave.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Shakespeare, of Lakeland, won $30 million in the Florida Lottery in 2006. He was last seen in April 2009, and officials have long thought his death was a homicide.
