Spokesman Jim Westhoff says main roads are largely clear and passable.
The department said over the weekend that crews were still days away from clearing secondary and minor roads. It also said a lot of attention was still needed in parts of Kent and Sussex counties, both of which were hit by at least 16 inches of snow.
Officials over the weekend were reporting more progress on New Castle County's primary and secondary roads.
