Light snow expected in Del. from next winter storm

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - February 15, 2010

The National Weather Service says northern parts of the state could see a few inches of new snow by the end of Tuesday. The threat latest snow threat already had Wilmington's Department of Public Works planning to send salt trucks out early Monday to treat roads.

The southern and coastal parts of the state were expected to see mostly rain or freezing rain Monday and Tuesday.

Delaware has already been hit by this winter by several feet of snow, prompting Gov. Jack Markell to say recently that he intended to seek a federal disaster aid.
