The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the NJ Turnpike in Chesterfield Twp, NJ near the Burlington/ Mercer County border, just south of the Exit 7a interchange for I-195.
Police say four tractor-trailers and an SUV were involved in the crash.
One tractor-trailer lost its load of bricks, and debris was thrown all over the roadway.
NJ State Police says two people in the SUV suffered chest injuries.
