Former New York State Tax Commissioner Andrew Eristoff is Christie's nominee.
Eristoff was tax commissioner under Gov. George Pataki and worked under New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as the city's Commissioner of Finance. He is a former Manhattan GOP chairman and member of the New York City Council.
Robert Czech's nomination to head the Civil Service Commission, which oversees state personnel matters, will also be heard. Czech currently serves as the county administrator for Monmouth County.
