FBI: One man robbed two area banks

PHILADELPHIA - February 22, 2010

The first crime happened at 9:23 a.m. Saturday at the Wachovia Bank Branch at 6420 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia. The second robbery happened around 10:20 a.m. Monday at a Wachovia Bank located at 205 East Street Road in Feasterville.

In both robberies, the FBI said the robber entered the branches and presented threatening demand notes to tellers. After obtaining cash, the he fled on foot. There were no injuries in either robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40's to 50's, receding short blond/grey hair, scruffy graying facial hair, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, and a thin build.

The FBI said during Saturday's robbery the suspect was wearing a faded denim jacket over a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, and during Monday's robbery he was wearing a white t-shirt, black shirt, and a tan jacket with a brown collar.

There may be a reward for information leading to this subject's identification and arrest, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
