No parole for man who said rabbi had wife killed

MAURICE RIVER TOWNSHIP, N.J. - February 25, 2010

Len Jenoff will continue serving a 23-year sentence for his part in the murder-for-hire death of Carol Neulander. The wife of Cherry Hill Rabbi Fred Neulander was found beaten to death in their home in 1994.

Parole Board members considered the nature of the crime and the 64-year-old inmate's record in prison.

Jenoff twice testified the rabbi hired him to kill his wife so he could carry on an affair.

The rabbi was convicted in 2002 and is serving a life sentence for murder.

The rabbi's court-appointed lawyer claims Jenoff has recanted the allegations.
