Police say the suspect, 59-year-old Shelley Kraft, lives at the home where the shooting happened.
Around 8:40 Tuesday morning, police received reports of a gunshot victim in a home on Julia Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers say they found a 29-year-old male lying on the floor in the bedroom with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim, identified as Christopher Kimble, was transported to Capital Health System, Fuld Campus, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Kraft was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Hamilton Police Division.
