The tractor trailer accident happened around 6 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-295 near I-95 in Newport Delaware.
The truck left the road and slid off the ramp into some mud, got stuck and started leaking. Hazardous materials teams were called to the scene, and have determined that the chemicals leaking from the truck are not hazardous.
The ramp from I-295 southbound to I-95 northbound will remain closed until the tow truck arrives and removes the tractor trailer.
