It happened around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday at America's Cash Express in the 3500 block of Germantown Avenue.
Police say one of the suspects followed an employee into the store as she opened for business.
Police believe a second man stayed outside with a grey stroller. There is no word on if there was a baby inside the stroller at the time.
The suspects are described as two black males. One was wearing a leather jacket, police said, while the other was wearing what appeared to be tan Muslim garb.
Police say they are getting little help from surveillance video. They say a camera inside the store was not working and a red light camera on the corner of Germantown and Venango is not operating. Another corner camera was removed months ago, say local business people.
No arrests have been made in this case yet and police say the bandits got away with a large amount of money. If anyone has info they should call police at 215-686-3243.
