Mrs. Fixit:Suitcses

March 20, 2010

Store your big, oversized beach towels and the kid's life jackets in a suitcase. They won't take up room in your linen closet and you'll know right where to find them when it's time to head to the beach!

Along those same lines extra blankets can be neatly stored in a suitcase too. If you're worried about your blankets or towels getting musty, stick a couple of dryer sheets or an unwrapped bar of soap in the bag before you zip it shut.

You can also use a suitcase to store handbags so they don't take up room in your closet. Stuff the bags with some tissue paper so they keep their shape and line them up neatly inside the suitcase. You can stash your toiletry and carry on bags inside too.

Finally, if you have items that you only use when you travel, like a travel pillow and eye cover, a travel purse or specialty travel sized items, keep them in your suitcase so you always know where they are when you need them.

Now, it you're worried about what you're going to do with the stuff that you've stashed in the suitcase when it's time to take a trip - you're not going to be home - so why worry! (wink) I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
