The fight happened outside the Hammerheads Sports Bar on the 3500 block of Cottman Avenue.
Police say a verbal argument between two men escalated when one of the men punched the other.
The punch knocked down the victim. Police say he hit his head the ground.
He was rushed to Aria Health Hospital in critical condition.
Police are still looking for the man who punched him.
