A rowhome in the 1800 block of Artic Avenue came crashing down at around 1:00 p.m. when high winds ripped through that neighborhood.
"The winds were in excess of 80 miles per hour," Chief Dennis Brooks of the Atlantic City Fire Department said.
The home wasn't occupied and neither was a second home around the corner that was also in imminent danger of collapse. But next to that home, whose residents were evacuated for their safety.
Meanwhile, License and Inspections along with police and fire officials were on scene for a partial collapse in a vacant dwelling in North Philadelphia.
It happened along with 2200 block of North 17th Street at around 10:30 a.m.
